In mid-2017 comedian and writer Richard Herring, not satisfied with blazing a trail in podcasting, crowdfunded comedy production and one player snooker, published the book Emergency Questions.
This compilation of questions that Richard falls back on at slow points during interviews, was initially published in print and as an ebook. Then it was also published as a mobile application.
The book's quick-fire question format was a perfect fit for Amazon Alexa and thus the Emergency Questions Alexa skill was born. Simple and direct, when you open the skill, it asks an Emergency Question. Do it with friends and sometimes hilarious, sometimes awkward debate ensues.
At launch, The Bookseller noted Emergency Questions to be the first book to be published across print, ebook, mobile and voice platforms, and shared the story of how Richard Herring's Emergency Questions became an Alexa Skill.

Rui designed and built V1 of RobBot - Robbie Williams' personal chatbot - just before starting Conversation Design. RobBot went on to exchange millions of messages with Robbie fans worldwide and set the high water mark for celebrity chatbots, earning a BIMA17 nomination along the way.
When RobBot V2 was moved from Converse.ai to Chatfuel, we were asked to carry out the replatforming. Hundreds of intents and thousands of trigger phrase combinations were recreated, alongside a new video gallery.
