PALOMA FAITH HELPS MUMS AND DADS AT NAPTIME WITH ALEXA

Following the release of her #1 album 'The Architect', Paloma Faith wanted to use her recent experience of motherhood to give mums and dads a helping hand when trying to get their babies and toddlers to sleep.

Paloma's voice guides parents through the Paloma's Bedtime Alexa skill's menus offering acapella lullabies and songs, stories, sleep sound effects and controlled crying timers.

RICHARD HERRING'S EMERGENCY QUESTIONS

OMNI-CHANNEL PUBLISHING

In mid-2017 comedian and writer Richard Herring, not satisfied with blazing a trail in podcasting, crowdfunded comedy production and one player snooker, published the book Emergency Questions.

This compilation of questions that Richard falls back on at slow points during interviews, was initially published in print and as an ebook. Then it was also published as a mobile application.

The book's quick-fire question format was a perfect fit for Amazon Alexa and thus the Emergency Questions Alexa skill was born. Simple and direct, when you open the skill, it asks an Emergency Question. Do it with friends and sometimes hilarious, sometimes awkward debate ensues.

At launch, The Bookseller noted Emergency Questions to be the first book to be published across print, ebook, mobile and voice platforms, and shared the story of how Richard Herring's Emergency Questions became an Alexa Skill.
